Hi, I’m Lisa.
I've always been in love with the creative process. Starting with a blank canvas and experiencing the evolution of my art from a whisper of an idea to the finished product. It took me a long time to understand and accept that I have an artist's soul.
I sculpt copper and build things out of wood. I pour acrylic epoxy creating beach desks, unique earrings, and fun keychains. I paint and glue things. I am constantly drawing on Procreate, learning new methods on Tiktok of all places. I love to sew, and I love to cook even more. Anything and everything that helps me learn and gives me almost instant gratification is on my radar. I love to write even though I don't do quite enough of it.
Most of all, I LOVE being a mom. I love seeing that wonderful and kind little personality develop, and I am humbled with the knowledge that I had a hand in shaping who she will become.
Finally, I'm an ally that is learning to support and amplify the people in my life from marginalized communities. I am most especially active about advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community. My pronouns are she / her.
